Graduate Solutions Engineer
Greenroom Robotics is on the hunt for a Graduate Solutions Engineer to help deploy, scale and evolve cutting edge maritime autonomy and perception systems that are already operating in the real world.
You’ll be right at the intersection of customers, vessels, software and AI, working hands on with autonomous systems as they move from concept to trials to operational fleets.
If you want your graduate role to involve boats, ports, autonomy, data and real operational impact, not just simulations and slide decks, this is it.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work across engineering, product and growth, supporting the full lifecycle of our autonomy platforms.
- Supporting pre sales and customer engagements, helping translate real operational needs into technical solutions
- Assisting with on water deployments, trials, and demonstrations on vessels and test platforms
- Collecting, validating and preparing operational data that feeds directly into improving our autonomy and AI models
- Working closely with our engineering team to close the loop between real world operations and product development
- Gaining exposure to how autonomous systems are sold, deployed, operated and scaled in commercial and defence environments
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Graduated or graduating soon in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Software or Systems Engineering
- Comfortable working with real hardware and real environments, not just simulations
- Strong problem solving skills and a curiosity to learn across multiple technical domains
- Able to clearly explain technical ideas to both engineers and non engineers
- Willing to travel and work around vessels, ports and maritime environments
Desirable
- Experience with robotics, autonomy, or perception systems
- Familiarity with Linux, Python, ROS or ROS2, or similar robotics frameworks
- Exposure to data handling, labelling, or machine learning workflows
- An interest in maritime, defence, offshore or autonomous systems
Why this role matters:
- This role is a force multiplier for Greenroom Robotics.
- You will directly influence how quickly we can deploy autonomy on new vessels
- How effectively we learn from real world operations
- How fast our AI and autonomy systems improve over time
Why Greenroom Robotics
We’re a fast growing maritime autonomy company working at the frontier of AI, robotics and real world operations. Our systems are already operating in challenging environments and we’re building technology that genuinely changes how maritime operations are done.
If you want a graduate role where your work actually ends up on the water, this is your opportunity.
