With safety as a priority, a remote operator requires a reliable, low latency stream. This is hard to achieve but vital in maintaining a safe, remote lookout. The problem lies in transferring video across potentially unstable radio links while maintaining low latency and video quality suitable for ASV remote control.

Greenroom has been working to solve this. The solution utilises adaptive bandwidth video transfer. By implementing a custom solution that leverages the latest in data transmission technologies, we have developed a streaming system that can reliably support low latency and high-quality video. With modularity in mind, this can also be used with Greenroom’s web browser-based interface across the internet and VPNs. This platform allows operators to be located anywhere with an internet connection, leading to more flexible operations.

High latency and poor quality stream are no longer acceptable. The usability of a remote system increases dramatically with the increased spatial awareness provided by our platform. With cutting-edge technology and innovative thinking, we can help increase the safety and efficiency of real-world maritime operations.

The Greenroom platform incorporates the latest research with reliable and efficient software to produce trusted, capable and predictable robotic systems. Our futureproof platform technology will provide a safe, efficient, intelligent capability for our partners and their assets. For more information, please reach out to info@greenroomrobotics.com

Structured Data - Catalyst for Safer Seas

Greenroom is on a quest to revolutionise the maritime sector with vision-based artificial intelligence (AI). Applying AI for real world applications requires not only robust pipelines and processes, but also large, comprehensive and accurate data sets. Greenroom’s Geolabeller is an end-to-end pipeline to collect, manage and analyse training datasets so that we can rapidly build machine learning and computer vision analytics to detect, classify and segment images.
