Product Manager

Roles and Duties

Greenroom Robotics is recruiting a full-time Product Manager and with your demonstrated brilliance, you will leverage your expertise to take our products to the next level. You will build on our existing strategies in a scalable manner, always on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and growth.

Responsibilities will vary based on company priorities, but the following duties provide an overview for the Product Manager role:

  • Report to the Technical Program Manager,
  • Gather user feedback (directly and indirectly via support/sales teams) and conduct analysis to develop product recommendations,
  • Work with key clients and focus groups to understand their needs and develop product recommendations,
  • Validate product developments via demonstrations and Proof of Concepts,
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and refine growth strategies,
  • Collaborate with the software development team to ensure product designs are technically feasible and commercially viable in accordance with the market data gathered,
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with business and technical stakeholders to capture product enhancement requirements,
  • Produce defined development requirements and specs for product enhancements and lead the creation and maintenance of documents,
  • Create user and training/handover documentation,
  • Manage project delivery within budget, cost, and scope guidelines,
  • Effectively communicate requirements to stakeholders, manage conflicts, issues, and changes to ensure that all teams and stakeholders agree on solution scope,
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction,
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the product team to exceed targets, providing guidance on professional development and performance improvement,
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and technical development, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives,
  • Contribute to the delivery of the product strategy and translate the product vision into a product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the strategic product vision,
  • Demonstrate credibility in the maritime field, with a strong interest in advanced technologies including autonomy and AI.

Essential

This role is open to Permanent Residents and Australian Citizens.

  • Tertiary qualification in software or engineering or product,
  • Demonstrated ability to scale software or technology companies,
  • 3+ years of Product experience, or equivalent,
  • Technical expertise (demonstrated through ability to develop an in-depth understanding of our product range),
  • Familiarity with challenges of maritime sectors,
  • Ambition, self-drive, and alignment with purpose,
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex strategies,
  • Passion for growth and building long-term relationships,
  • An open mind to rapid change and change management,
  • Exceptional interpersonal/communication skills,
  • Great organisational skills and excellent attention to detail,
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite software.

Desirable Experience

  • Interest in AI/Autonomy/Tech,
  • Established network in Maritime sectors,
  • Tertiary level degree/s,
  • Product Management Experience,
  • Marketing management experience.
