Technical Success Manager

Roles and Duties

Reporting to the Technical Program Manager, this role involves developing, leading, and implementing processes for smooth technical communications and delivery. Facilitate collaboration between technical, project and product team experts to gather necessary information and knowledge and turn that into actionable goals.

Effective communication and risk management for diverse stakeholders are paramount facets of this role. You'll work closely with the technical team to continually refine products, ensuring they remain at the forefront of market demands. Furthermore, you'll be instrumental in devising innovative solutions for intricate challenges and overseeing Research and Development initiatives.

You'll engage with all facets of the company, delving deep into real-world maritime applications to tailor software solutions that meet their unique requirements.

Essential

This role is open to Permanent Residents and Australian Citizens.

  • Interest in AI/Autonomy/Tech,
  • Tertiary qualification in software or engineering,
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and communicate across tech, project and product,
  • Technical expertise (ability to develop an in-depth understanding of our product range, and a reasonable understanding of software architecture),
  • Familiarity with challenges of the maritime sector,
  • 4+ years' experience with Technical Management or Product development/management, technical delivery or technical communications,
  • Ability to work collaboratively with users and engineers to discover opportunities for better processes and products,
  • Ambition, self-drive, and alignment with purpose,
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex strategies,
  • An open mind to rapid change and change management,
  • Exceptional interpersonal/communication skills,
  • Great organisational skills and excellent attention to detail,
  • Ability to manage a team to ensure a happy and effective team whilst maintaining leadership directives and direction.

Desirable Experience

  • Maritime experience,
  • Experience working in fast-growing startups,
  • Experience working with regulatory requirements.
