Greenroom Robotics welcomes three senior leaders to drive its next phase of growth
We're growing fast, and we're building the team to match. We're proud to announce three senior appointments that strengthen our strategic, commercial, and operational capability as we scale across defence and commercial markets globally.
Over the past year, we've deepened our partnership with the Royal Australian Navy, expanded our work with Austal and SubSea Craft, and grown our pipeline at home and abroad. The demand for trusted maritime autonomy is accelerating, and these appointments reflect our commitment to meeting it.
Greenroom is scaling rapidly, and Pete, Damon and Josh bring the expertise we need for this next phase. Our founders come from strong military and maritime backgrounds, and these appointments add senior strategic, international and operational warfighter experience to the team."

Pete Quinn: deep defence expertise joins the team
Rear Admiral Pete Quinn AO CSC (Ret'd) joins Greenroom Robotics as Executive Strategic Advisor, and his appointment reflects something we genuinely believe: that building credible capability in the defence space requires more than good technology. It requires people who understand how defence organisations think, how capability decisions get made, and what it means to bring new technology into sovereign operations responsibly.
Pete has spent his career doing exactly that, shaping major operational initiatives across Defence and advancing the adoption of autonomous systems at a senior level. His experience will be invaluable as we deepen our engagement with Australian and international defence customers and continue developing sovereign capability.
Delivering trusted, scalable autonomy in the maritime domain is one of the most important capability challenges of our time. Greenroom Robotics combines deep operational insight with proven technology and a strong sovereign capability story. I'm looking forward to helping grow the company locally and internationally.

Damon Spencer and Josh Cook: operators who know the environment
At Greenroom Robotics, operational credibility isn't a nice-to-have. It shapes how we build, who we hire, and how we show up for customers. Damon Spencer (Chief Commercial Officer) and Josh Cook (Chief of Staff) are a natural fit for that culture.
Both served in Australian Special Forces and bring firsthand experience in complex maritime and littoral environments, the same environments our technology is built to operate in. That matters more than it might sound. When our customers are working through the realities of deploying autonomy in contested, congested, or demanding conditions, it helps to have people in our corner who've been in those conditions themselves.
Damon will lead our commercial strategy, building the partnerships and pathways to support what he describes plainly: a market that is moving from trials and experimentation to real-world deployment. Customers want systems that are proven, practical, and ready to integrate. Our job is to meet them there.
The market is moving quickly from trials and experimentation to real-world deployment. Customers want systems that are proven, practical and ready to integrate into existing operations. My focus will be on building the partnerships and commercial pathways to support that demand.

Josh will focus on the organisational foundations, people, culture, and systems, that let a fast-growing team keep its edge. Scaling well is harder than it looks. We want to do it deliberately.
Scaling a company brings an opportunity to build strong systems, culture and leadership foundations. My focus is on helping the team grow sustainably while continuing to develop and retain the talent that gives Greenroom its operational edge in a complex and high-stakes environment.

Building for what's ahead
These appointments reflect where we see the maritime autonomy market heading, and the kind of company we're building to lead it.
The maritime environment is genuinely one of the most complex operational domains in the world. Delivering trusted autonomy at sea takes deep expertise, operational credibility, and technology that integrates into real workflows, not just impressive demonstrations.
We're building for that. And we're building with the right people to get there.
Join the team
There's never been a more exciting time to join the Greenroom Robotics team. We're always on the Lookout+ (pardon the pun) for top talent to help us in our mission for safer, cleaner, protected oceans.
