Greenroom Robotics recently joined forces with industry leaders at the Advancing Full Ocean Depth Technology Conference, hosted by Inkfish in San Diego from 24th to 28th July 2023. Our CEO, James Keane, and Principal Software Architect, David Revay, represented Greenroom, emphasising our ongoing support for the Triton 36000/2 Hadal Exploration program.

The conference was a platform for Greenroom to further its existing collaboration with Inkfish and other industry leaders, aiming to tackle unresolved challenges in full ocean depth navigation and data management. Among the attendees from Greenroom were experts from Dark Ocean Design, Deep Ocean Search, and Inkfish, all united by a common goal - advancing deep sea technology to support scientific research.

Greenroom has been a steadfast supporter of the Triton 36000/2 Hadal Exploration program since 2021. Our involvement has included a refit carried out in Perth, Western Australia, and continuous provision of specialist software and personnel support.

The discussions at the conference delved into two critical technical problems: developing a navigation solution for accurately positioning subsea assets at 11,000m, and creating an integrated hardware/software solution for data management. Solving these problems is crucial for advancing the technologies required to explore the deep ocean comprehensively.

Our team have been working on different aspects of these challenges for over a decade, and it was an honour to be invited to collaborate with world-leaders, building on our Australian grown expertise.

Greenroom is thrilled to partake in this collaborative venture with Inkfish and other industry forerunners. Through such collaborations, Greenroom continues to play a pivotal role in the industry, underlining our commitment to fostering innovation and contributing to a deeper understanding of our oceans. Our aligned vision and collective expertise are catalysts for innovative solutions to the oceanic exploration sector's challenges. The engagements and partnerships nurtured during this event are substantial strides towards our long-term goals in ocean technology and exploration.
