Greenroom Robotics Appoints Alex Bertram as General Manager, Americas

Greenroom Robotics proudly welcomes Alex Bertram as our new General Manager for the Americas, based in the United States. Alex's appointment signals a major step forward in our global growth strategy and reinforces our commitment to delivering maritime autonomy solutions to our allies and partners across North and South America.

A Proven Leader in Remote Operations and International Growth.

Alex brings deep expertise in applying advanced technologies in some of the world's most challenging environments. From leading the deployment of autonomous and remote systems in the Pilbara's resource sector, to supporting climate tech ventures and international trade initiatives across the U.S.--Australia corridor, Alex's career has been defined by solving complex problems where it matters most.

With his unique blend of operational experience and strategic insight, Alex is well positioned to accelerate Greenroom's expansion into defence, commercial, and science-focused maritime domains throughout the Americas.

Scaling Autonomy with Real-World Impact

Alex's leadership will help bridge the gap between cutting-edge autonomy and real-world mission requirements. His background working with governments, startups, and critical industries gives him a sharp understanding of how to translate technical capability into strategic value, from reducing risk and crewing requirements, to enabling safer, cleaner operations at sea.

His appointment underscores Greenroom's belief that autonomy is no longer experimental: it's operational, and it's needed now.

Championing Collaboration Across Borders

Alex is passionate about connecting people, technology, and purpose. In his role, he will build strong relationships across the defence, energy, and maritime innovation ecosystems, unlocking new partnerships, supporting customer success, and amplifying the voice of our U.S.-based users into Greenroom's product direction.

Alex is available to speak with defence and commercial leaders looking to explore autonomy-enabled operations and capability uplift across the maritime environment. Whether you're solving for contested logistics, ocean science, or offshore efficiency, Alex is ready to help.

We're excited to have Alex on board as we continue building safe, clean, and protected oceans through practical, proven autonomy. Welcome to the Greenroom team, Alex!

Greenroom is growing, and we're always looking for passionate people to join our team across engineering, commercial, and operations. Explore open roles at greenroomrobotics.com/careers
